All right, I know what you are saying, "You don't really expect me to read this old stuff!" Well, if you want to get out of the spiritually thin stuff you see in the grocery stores, uh, yes, I do. These are three books which have selections of some Church Fathers in them. It is helpful to see how people who were close to the time of Jesus understood things such as God (The Trinity), Sin and Grace, Tradition and Scripture, the Church, the Sacraments, Christian Living, etc. Contrary to popular belief, tradition is the living faith of the dead which has a lot to give us. So, here it goes:
